Privacy: Quillroo Chase
Short version: your invoices and your clients' names, emails and numbers stay in your browser. No ads, no cookies, no accounts. Chase never emails or texts your clients; you do, from your own apps.
Visit stats: like the rest of the Quillroo site, this page loads Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts anonymous page views (page address, referrer, browser type and country) without cookies. It can't see anything you type into Chase.
Free plan
- Everything you enter is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It is never sent to us.
- "Email", "Text" and "Add to calendar" hand the reminder to apps on your device (your mail app, messages app or calendar). What happens after that is between you and those apps.
- Delete it any time: Your data → Delete everything on this device, or clear your browser's site data.
Pro plan (coming soon; this is how it will work)
To unlock Pro, the app sends your licence key to our server (a Cloudflare Worker), which asks Gumroad whether the membership is active. We keep:

- Gumroad's reply includes the buyer's email address. We throw it away; it is never stored or logged by the app.
- Backups are encrypted in your browser with a passphrase only you know (PBKDF2-SHA256, 210,000 rounds, then AES-256-GCM). We receive scrambled bytes and can't read your invoices, and we can't recover a lost passphrase.
- Your licence key is also saved in your browser so the app can re-check it every few days. "Remove licence from this browser" deletes it.
- Cloudflare, our host, processes requests (including IP addresses) to run the service; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Gumroad handles payment and your purchase record; see Gumroad's privacy policy. We don't sell or share data with anyone else.
Your rights
You can export your data (Your data → Export backup file), delete it from your device, and delete the server copy (Chase Pro → Delete online backup). That also removes your licence record. Questions or a deletion request: ledgerlinetools@proton.me. Under the Australian Privacy Act you can also complain to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au); in NZ, the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
